About the role

As a Manager, Workday Integrations & Reporting Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the Workday integrations landscape & driving efficiency enhancements through validations. You will be a key resource in ensuring our landscape is efficient, accurate, & scalable. You should be gritty & relentless as you uncover issues & identify solutions. You get things done & can explain complex ideas in a simple, straightforward way.

You will report to the Director, People Systems.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office ( in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Ave), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency: 

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is: $113,600 - $149,100 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $102,240 - $134,190 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrations  requirements with cross-functional teams; ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. 
  • Build technical specifications, field mappings, & process designs to support integrations landscape & process life-cycle.
  •  Design & develop Workday integrations  using standard integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, & Web Services.
  • Develop & maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, & landscape diagrams. 
  • Troubleshoot & resolve integrations issues in a timely manner; complete root cause analysis & develop plans to mitigate risks in the future, 
  • Participate in testing, validation, & deployment of integrations.
  • Responsible for integration audit documentation & support.
  • Stay up to date with new Workday integration features & best practices.
  • Partner with the People Systems team to design, document, & execute Workday reporting requests/needs.
  • Work cross functionally & with project teams to enhance efficiency across Workday landscape through validations, document generation, etc.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Workday integrations development.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Studio, EIB, & Web Services.
  • Experience with integrations with Greenhouse, Fidelity, Cigna etc.
  • Proficient in Report Writing & Calculated fields (BIRT experience is a plus).
  • Experience with Web Services & APIs: (WSDL (Web Service Description Language), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), REST (Representational State Transfer) & WS (Web Services) standards.
  • Knowledge in Integration security (ISU, PGP Key, MFA).
  • The candidate must be a hands-on coder doing active development & collaborate with other engineers in the team.
  • Strong understanding of Workday data architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
