Your Role

As a Senior Retoucher, you will take a hands-on approach to both the creative & technical aspects of projects, collaborating closely with Creative Director, Producers, VFX Supervisory & CGI artists to ensure the seamless execution of final imagery. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards across all retouching work, from initial image preparation to final delivery

Your Responsibilities 

• Execute high-end image retouching at every stage of the process, from image preparation to final color grading & conversions.
• Integrate & enhance CGI elements, ensuring photorealistic quality through precise lighting, scale, perspective, focus, & grain matching
• Lead creative & technical execution on projects, from initial concept through to final delivery
• Collaborate with CGI artists, photographers, & animation teams to integrate multi-disciplinary visual assets seamlessly
• Ensure strict quality control across all final deliverables, maintaining consistency in color, tone, & detail
• Supervise & support junior retouchers, providing mentorship & training to elevate team capabilities
• Work closely with Producers to manage project timelines, deliverables & client expectations
• Optimize workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency & improve production pipelines
• Travel for work-related events, productions, & training as required

Your Experience 

• A good understanding of German language
• 8+ years of professional experience in high-end photography retouching & / or CGI post-production
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for high-end compositing & retouching
• Strong understanding of CGI pipelines, including rendering, lighting, textures, shaders, structures, photorealistic finishing & post-production integration
• A good understanding of Microsoft & the rest of the Adobe Suite A deep passion for photography, visual effects & CGI production
• Excellent problem-solving & time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects & deadline
• Strong team leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, innovation, & efficiency
• Ability to work both independently & as part of a team, maintaining the highest creative & technical standards
• Willingness & ability to travel for work-related events & productions
