We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the SoundCloud Apple Platforms team, with a mission to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences across iOS, Apple Watch, & CarPlay that connect millions of users with the music & artists they love. Youll play a key role in shaping the SoundCloud mobile experience, helping users discover unique content & interact with the platform wherever they are.

This role offers a great opportunity to grow as an iOS engineer while shaping key parts of the SoundCloud experience across Apple platforms & making meaningful contributions to how users discover & connect with music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & maintain SoundClouds apps across Apple platforms (iOS, Apple Watch, CarPlay), delivering responsive, high-quality user experiences.
• Contribute to the modernization of our codebase by refactoring Objective-C & modularizing components using Swift & SwiftUI.
• Build & optimize UI components using SwiftUI, with a focus on performance, accessibility, & platform consistency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding product, design, backend, & analyticsto define, build, & iterate on features.
  Support experimentation & data-driven product development by integrating A/B testing & tracking into mobile features.
• Take part in architectural decisions, code reviews, & engineering best practices to ensure maintainable, scalable mobile development.

Background & Experience:

• Professional experience building iOS applications using Swift, with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SwiftUI
• Comfortable working in & improving large, existing codebases, including refactoring Objective-C & maintaining clean, maintainable code
• Eager to learn new technologies, experiment, & continuously improve as an engineer
• Skilled at working in cross-functional teams, proactively communicating, & breaking down complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
• Thrives in a collaborative, agile environment, while also capable of working independently & taking initiative
• Passionate about music, mobile development, & building intuitive, high-impact experiences for millions of users
