Role Description

The Marketing Operations, Campaign Production Lead will play a critical role in driving operational excellence & scalable execution for global marketing campaigns. This individual will lead the Campaign Operations team & manage agency partners to ensure flawless campaign delivery across Marketo & Salesforce, with a emphasis on B2B initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, the Marketing Operations, Campaign Production Lead will sit at the core of the marketing engine, translating strategic plans into execution by partnering closely with Lifecycle, Field, Channel, Paid Media, & other cross-functional teams. They will own the processes & team that will bring marketing campaigns to life.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage & mentor a team of campaign specialists & agency partners responsible for end-to-end campaign execution (build, QA, launch, reporting)
  • Process Design: Create & optimize campaign workflows, intake processes, QA checklists, & documentation to drive consistency, scalability, & quality
  • Campaign Execution Oversight: Ensure timely & accurate execution of global email & multi-channel campaigns in Marketo & Salesforce
  • Quality & Compliance: Uphold data privacy & email compliance standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL) across all campaigns
  • Vendor Management: Own agency relationships & budgets, ensuring on-time delivery, clear SLAs, & high-quality work
  • Performance Reporting: Analyze campaign performance & operational metrics to inform decision-making & improve results
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across marketing & sales to align on campaign strategy, timelines, & outcomes
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion operational efficiency, experimentation, & best practices in campaign execution

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, including at least 2 years leading a Campaign Operations or Marketing Operations team
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Marketo is essential. This is a SME role that requires the ability to coach & mentor both team members & cross-functional partners on system usage & best practices
  • Experience with project management & resource planning tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Proven track record of using data to drive decisions & continuously optimize campaign performance & conversion rates
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, & translate business goals into actionable execution plans
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong understanding of database structure, marketing analytics, & campaign attribution models
  • Experience managing agency partners with significant budgets & responsibility for high-impact deliverables
