Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will be a critical part of the leadership team to define & execute the organization's growth strategy. 

You Will

• Define, drive, & deliver marketing KPIs
• Take responsibility for the annual marketing plan, strategy, & team
• Lead marketing forecasting & planning to optimize conversions across all channels
• Manage execution of plans across functions & teams as needed to meet business objectives & drive success stories
• Prioritize goals & drive your team & agencies to get the job done
• Ensure sufficient internal communication & awareness of programs with Product, Sales, & other teams
• Develop & manage the marketing budget, & recommend appropriate marketing strategies & investments across all channels
• Serve as a member of the Leadership team to help shape Smartling's vision, strategy & plans to maintain leadership in the localization industry
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, & customer preferences to inform marketing strategies & refine product positioning
• Support Smartlings HR & Recruiting functions by showcasing our company culture & forecasting hiring needs for the marketing department

You Have

• Senior-level experience developing & achieving successful marketing strategies for a fast-growing innovative AI company
• 5+ years in executive, managerial, or people leadership capacities, or equivalent entrepreneurship roles
• A process-oriented & data-driven approach to building awareness & consideration at the top of the funnel & conversions throughout
• Experience playing a key role in defining exceptional brands
• Demonstrated ability in brand storytelling & messaging that shows the value of our platform, team, & customers
• Demonstrable experience designing & implementing successful marketing campaigns
• Ability to maintain highly strategic thinking & thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, & ambiguous environment
• Clear, concise, & compelling communication (visual, verbal, & written) skills
• Proven ability to lead through influence
• Proven success in accelerating sales growth by supporting Sales & Engagement teams
• Worked with agencies & providers & know how to complement internal & external capabilities
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
