We are looking for a UX Researcher- Contractor for 32 hours per week(4 days) for 6 months. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research & data activities, including weekly usability testing/user interviews/surveys to gather valuable insights around user behaviors, attitudes, & mental models
• Work alongside data analysts/scientists to understand usage to triangulate various data points in your research
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers & product managers, to integrate user feedback into the design & development process.
• Apply psychology principles & UX methodologies that help create intuitive & user-friendly digital music experiences
• Analyze research data & present actionable recommendations to improve product usability & overall user experience.
• Work closely with Senior UX Researchers & designers to support research initiatives & projects.
• Consistently stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, & emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas to the team

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong understanding of both the design thinking & product development process
• Experience in creating jobs to be done framework, journey maps, segmentation, heuristic evaluation. 
• Experience integrating user research into product designs & design practices. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of UX principles & research methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design OR equivalent experience in the UX field
• Strong organizational & time-management skills to efficiently plan & execute research tasks.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills to effectively present insights & collaborate with team members
• Passion for understanding people & creating products that meet their needs
• Familiarity with tools such as Miro, Google Slides, Figma, Excel, Ethnio, UserTesting.com, Confluence, Reduct, Braze, Pendo
