The Senior Email Developer is responsible for designing & writing code & providing support to build also responsive email designs. They need to know HTML, CSS & media query, the Senior Email Developer is able to work independently tasks, assuming ownership for the design & programming required. Also should handle the code very well, to developing a responsive email, this individual will rely on existing designs. The Senior Email Developer should also be able to provide accurate estimates for his tasks. Guide & inspire new hires.


You will: 

  • HTML & CSS oriented for email development.
  • Propose solutions & provide estimations on projects.
  • Work with the design team, tech leads & PMs.
  • Ensure emails follow best practices.
  • Develop responsive email design.
  • Coach & support other Email Developers in fulfill their tasks & improving their skills.
  • Ensure that implementation matches the design.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Create & update templates (basic to complex level).
  • Analyze complex emails testing to improve solutions on environments issues.
  • Knowledge on ADA implementations for emails.
  • Perform code reviews; develop & adhere to coding standards
  • Optimize Images, HTML, CSS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size.
  • Ensure desktop & browsers engines compatibility.
  • Research online marketing resolutions.
  • Stay abreast of ever-emerging technologies & techniques
  • Being aware & having a proactive, mindful eye to problem identification & mitigation (associated with execution of HTML Email Campaigns); capable & confident problem-solving skills.
  • Using the following programs Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver & Photoshop), MailChimp, HTML/CSS Skills.

You have:

  • English Proficiency (B2+/C1 reading, writing, & conversation).
  • At least 3 - 4 years email specific development experience.
  • Must have digital portfolio, covering dynamic email samples.
  • Familiar with ad publishers (eg. Marketo, Salesforce, Engage, Silverpop, etc)
  • Knowledge on pixel perfect implementation on htmls.
  • Knowledge for MSO compatibility & issues related fixes.
  • ADA compliance knowledge.
  • Dark mode & fixes.
  • Experience dev skills in HTML, CSS
  • Concept of live text vs images
  • Knowledge in W3C Standards (or able to learn quickly about them).
  • Image optimization
  • Independent, responsible, & proactive with the ability to learn & achieve superior results.
  • Understanding of media queries for responsive layout
  • Experience working with mobile & web templates.
  • Basic HTML & simple/nested table structure
  • Hands on QA experience utilizing Litmus or similar.
  • Photoshop proficiency required to manipulate assets.
  • Detail oriented, organized, & the ability to meet deadlines while working with some projects at the same time.
  • Proven experience with modern web standards & cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Familiarity with MSO code.
