Role Description

As a Learning Designer & Facilitator focused on learning & leadership development across Dropbox, youll support the evolution of how we grow our people in a Virtual First environment. You will play a crucial role in areas such as program design, facilitation of scalable & inclusive learning experiences, curriculum evaluation & iteration, & management of Dropboxs coaching program.
Your work will include collaborating with cross-functional partners & designing learner-centered experiences. Youll get to shape high-impact development experiences that reach managers & ICs across Dropbox, drive measurable behavior change, & help create a learning culture rooted in reflection, curiosity, & experimentation. Youll play a key role in the ongoing strategy of learning at Dropbox.
Responsibilities
- Design & deliver modern, learner-centered experiences rooted in instructional design best practices & Dropbox values.
- Design & facilitate engaging workshops across virtual & in-person formats for audiences at all levels.
- Consult with business leaders to develop custom learning or organizational development solutions that address team or function-specific challenges.
- Evaluate & iterate on learning programs using feedback, behavior change data, & impact metrics.
- Bring a spirit of innovation & curiosity to learning designexperimenting with new formats, tools (including AI), & methods to enhance the learner experience.
- Design senior leadership programs that align to Dropboxs learning philosophy & approach.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field (e.g., Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Education).
- At least 8 years of experience in instructional design, facilitation, or leadership development within a corporate or high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design models, & behavior change principles.
- Strong facilitation skills across virtual & in-person environments, with comfort engaging diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness using feedback & data, & make evidence-based improvements.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills in a fast-paced, Virtual First environment.
- Experience integrating AI tools to enhance efficiency, personalization, or insight generation in L&D or operational contexts.
- Proven success applying HR as a product approaches to program design, with a focus on driving learner outcomes & operational excellence.
- Comfort with UX/design thinking principles to co-create, test, & refine learner-centric experiences in fast-moving, data-informed environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Organizational development experience.
- Coaching certification or experience partnering with executive coaches or coaching vendors.
- Experience with learning technologies & authoring tools (e.g., LMS platforms, Articulate, Miro, AI-powered learning tools like Synthesia or Sana).
- Experience working in a tech-forward or hybrid/Virtual First organization.
