Job Description
As the Demand Planner you will play a critical role in forecasting customer demand to ensure that our meals are delivered accurately & eiciently. You will collaborate with various departments including marketing, sales, operations, & supply chain to optimise inventory levels & enhance customer satisfaction. This is a key role with significant impact on all areas of the business.
This role is based in Penrose, Auckland & reports to the S&OP lead.
You will
- Develop, monitor, & adjust demand forecasts using historical data & market trends.
- Analyse forecast accuracy & implement improvements to minimise forecast errors.
- Utilise statistical & analytical tools to predict future demand patterns.
- Work closely with the marketing & sales teams to understand promotional plans, new product launches, & market trends.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure alignment of supply plans with demand forecasts.
- Communicate demand plans & adjustments to relevant stakeholders eectively.
- Develop & present on weekly & monthly Demand Planning KPIs (including but not limited to forecast accuracy KPIs).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the demand planning function.
- Maintain resource/reference files & update existing tools on a weekly basis.
You have/are
- 2 - 5 years of relevant supply chain experience in demand planning, supply planning or similar roles.
- A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in demand planning software & tools (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL) complemented with exceptional analytical & problem solving skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to collaborate eectively with cross-functional team
- High energy, enthusiasm, & a can-do attitude. Youre used to working in a high pressure, fast paced, & constantly changing environment
- Driven & self-motivated - you will be making a meaningful dierence in our business & the lives of our employees & customers
- The ability to handle multiple projects & assignments, while being able to prioritise, achieve objectives, & meet deadlines
