<P><SPAN>ABOUT SREE: Sree Sreenivasan has been named by Mayor Bill de Blasio as the next Chief Digital Officer of New York City, starting in October. He was previously the first chief digital officer of The Met and Columbia University, and was a professor of journalism for 20 years at Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. In 2015, he was named one of Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business. Mayor de Blasio, on announcing Sree's job, tweeted that he wanted to make NYC "the most tech friendly, transparent and digitally equitable city in the world." </SPAN></P>

<P><STRONG>What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?</STRONG></P>
<P>W83 is easily accessible from the 1 Train west 86th Street stop, the C or B Train west 81st Street stop, the M7, M11, M10, and M104 bus lines. There are a couple of parking garages on West 83rd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam. Or be like Sree and walk.</P>
<P><STRONG>What can/can't I bring to the event?</STRONG></P>
<P>Please bring dinner, something to drink, and snacks as the class is long and fast-paced, and many of you will be beginning your evening with the Social Media Doctors. There is a Lenwich sandwhich shop on Columbus Avenue between W83-84th Street and a convenience store on the Northwest corner of 83rd and Columbus Avenue. Take-out food is available at many of the restaurants in the neighborhood.</P>
