At ProductTank NYC we love to hear from fellow product designers/managers about their experiences and challenges they've faced and overcome.

In February we carry on this tradition by presenting 15 minute talks from NYC-based product people, followed up by a Q&A session with our audience.

Drinks and networking will start at 6:30pm, with the speakers starting promptly at 7pm. ProductTank is about starting conversations so the talks are short so we can spend more time talking over drinks and pizza!

Eric will share insights from his work as the Head of Product for the WFS Markets Salesforce CRM. This talk will be focused on how to spike adoption in enterprise applications where users have the power to "take or leave them", and managing user expectations from the ground level to the executive leadership level at a global organization. Additionally, he will touch on some professional advice for current / aspiring product managers and the difference between enterprise product management vs. startup.

Shendi Wang

Shendi will share her experience as a product manager in the payments and media industries, from Amex to TheStreet to MasterCard. She will discuss the major differences from a product perspective and why she chose to return to the payments space, including strategic and day-to-day differences. Hopefully, her experience will provide insight for others considering product roles in various industries or with varying emphases on the software/product development lifecycle.

Jonathan believes everyone should have a side hustle outside of their day jobs and will share some insights on why it's important for both aspiring and experienced PM's. He'll also share some learnings from his current project, Tribe of Five. And last but not least, he'll also show you how you can get started in just 30 minutes a day!
