Our final meetup of 2015 will feature Bill DeSimone, Head of Acquirer Relations and General Manager of Strategic Relations at JPMorgan Chase & Co.We'll discuss the payments landscape in NYC and elsewhere, learn more about Chase's recently announced Chase Pay mobile payments product, and also discuss predictions for where the market will evolve from here.

6:30-7pm: Arrive early to meet others interested in mobile payments

7-8pm: Main event: brief presentation by Bill, followed by discussion and Q&A about mobile payments

8pm until...?: Stay for a drink and keep the discussion going.

Bill DeSimone is Head of Acquirer Relations and General Manager of Strategic Relations at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He is a 17-year payments veteran, including the last year and a half at Chase. Today, Bill is responsible for putting together strategic partnerships with the technology partners who will assist in bringing Chase Pay to market. At Chase he has also sold the companys Gift Card business and developed the strategy for rolling out ChaseNet to the US market with other merchant acquirers. Prior to coming to JP Morgan Chase, Bill spent nearly 15 years at American Express where, amongst other responsibilities, he was one of the early innovators in mobile payments. In 2006, a year before the iPhone was released, he ran a successful pilot delivering coupons to American Express card members via text message that served as the foundation for American Express' early mobile efforts.
