We are very excited to have three-time conference speaker, & long time meetup member, Dan Chen presenting for the first time at the meetup. He'll be talking about RMarkdown, starting with the basics & working into advanced uses, such as building the meetup's new website.
About the talk:
RMarkdown allows you to create dynamic reports that interweave (R) code & prose text into a single document. It's come a long way over the years, & can be used for more than literate programming, all while using simple markdown notation. You can make documents, reports, dashboards, presentations, books, & even websites!
We will go "back to the basics," & start from what is markdown & reproducibledocuments, & move on to show how the "basics" all tie intoall the other presentation formats.
