CSS works like a language. It is in essence, a language that works with the same tools that we use in common languages: grammar, syntax, order, etc.

This presentation covers basic keys to CSS, including an overview of how to manipulate CSS to cater to the visual appearance of your site. Additionally, we will cover functionality, compatibility, & interactivity practices. You'll leave the presentation with a general understanding of how to put CSS into practical use. The presentation provides viewers with practical tools to take home & resources to use to continue coding freely.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

Bibiana Aguero is a Digital Designer & Photographer located in New York City. She attended the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD, an award-winning private accredited institution). At that university in Atlanta, she completed a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography. She served as the Lead Graphic Design Coordinator for Georgia Close Up, an organization dedicated to educating young citizens on public policy. Since 2013, shes been featured in several events, like the SCAD Foundations show & the Open Studio exhibition by the Photography Department of SCAD Atlanta. In the fall of 2016, Bibiana relocated to the NYC area to work for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness as a Graphic Designer, raising awareness about Womens contributions to technology, among other pharmaceutical endeavours. She currently works at New York Road Runners as a Digital Designer, & can be found at Design meetups & networking events.
