AGENDA:

We will take abird's eye view of the latest cyber security threats & trends, as well as real-world strategies & security architecture for securing critical networks & data in the enterprise, commercial, government & industrial environments.

We will also discuss the red-hot cybersecurity job market which is heating up with every breach that gets reported.

Data from all sides predict a huge surge in cybersecurity jobs. Data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates jobs in IT security are one of the fastest-growing categories in tech, up 33% in the past four years alone.Cybersecurity Ventures predicts on the high end that there will be 3.5 million cyber security job openings by 2021. Aditya has experience in setting security strategy, creating security standards & architecting & implementing highly secure enterprise applications, data centers, & cloud solutions. Aditya hasheld senior executive positions at various companies such as Marvel Entertainment (Chief Architect, Dir. Enterprise Architecture), Starwood Hotels (Lead Security Architect) & JPMorganChase (Sr. Architect). He has also published various articles withIBMon security & other topics.

Thaier Hayajneh, Ph.D.
Director of Fordham Center for Cybersecurity

Thaier Hayajneh, Ph.D., specializes in Cybersecurity, is the director of Fordham Center for Cybersecurity, Associate professor of Computer Science, program director of MS in Cybersecurity & MS in Data at Fordham University. Dr. Hayajneh has 20 years of experience in computer science & engineering with 10 years in cybersecurity research & education. He was a full-time faculty of computer science at New York Institute of Technology & founder director of NYIT Center of Excellence in Cyber Security (2014-2016). He received his Ph.D. & M.S. degrees in Information Sciences with specialization in cybersecurity & Networking from the University of Pittsburgh, PA, in 2009 & 2005, respectively.
