From the 8th century onward, Viking warriors conquered much of Europe. Not to be outdone in modern times, their descendants have now set their sights on America. Fortunately for us, this time we find them at the gates withwaffles! Join us on May 17 for a high energy, low carb evening with Benedicte Engen, Founder of Norwegian Protein Magic. Benedicte will share her inspiration, triumphs & tribulations as she developed her signature product, Viking Waffles. She will take us from her early days as an expat Founder here in the US, to building out the production, sales, marketing & financing sides of her business, to securing a solid foothold for the Viking Waffle brand in the US fitness product market.

Benedicte Engen, 26 year old, CEO of Norwegian Protein Magic, Inc a food manufacturing business located East Village, Manhattan based on wholesale & e-commerse. Creator of the trademarked Viking Waffles - prepackaged high protein snack options on-the-go.

Studied one semester entrepreneurship & Business English at Gateway College. Studied Pre Medicine for one year in Oslo, Norway (which also incorporates 1st year nutritionist studies). In high school her elective subjects were Elite Sports (Soccer) & Science that included Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. She is a certified Crossfit Trainer, Kettlebell & Yoga instructor & has completed a Olympic Weightlifting Course. She has played soccer in a high level in Norway (Trondheims Orn).
