Stephen Davis, Partner, Goodwin Procter <IMG STYLE="margin: 5px; float: left;" TITLE="Stephen Davis,Partner, Goodwin Procter" SRC="https://cdn.evbuc.com/eventlogos/65295031/davismstephen.jpg" ALT="Stephen Davis, Partner, Goodwin Procter" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="100">Steve Davis, a partner in the firm's Business Law Department, is a member of the Technology Companies Group and the Life Sciences, Capital Markets, and Clean Tech Practices. He has extensive experience in several areas of corporate practice with a focus on venture capital, corporate finance and securities, megers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate counseling. Mr. Davis is a key contributor to the Goodwin Procter Founders Workbench, an online resource for start-ups, emerging companies and the entrepreneurial community. Mr. Davis joined Goodwin Procter in 2008.
Mr. Davis has represented clients in transactions ranging from start-up financings to billion dollar plus transactions and has counseled companies in diverse industries such as software, Internet infrastructure, applications and services, telecommunications, wireless technologies, biotech, medical devices, energy and clean tech, manufacturing, investment management and investment banking. He has also represented issuers, investors and underwriters in numerous initial public offerings, secondary offerings, PIPEs offerings, spin-off transactions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions.

Jack Groetzinger, Co-Founder, SeatGeek <IMG STYLE="margin: 5px; float: left;" TITLE="Jack Groetzinger, Co-Founder, SeatGeek" SRC="https://cdn.evbuc.com/eventlogos/65295031/jackcut400x400.jpg" ALT="Jack Groetzinger, Co-Founder, SeatGeek" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="100">Jack Groetzinger is the co-founder of SeatGeek, the largest event ticket search engine on the web, which he started in 2009 with Russell D'Souza.
Jack focuses on SeatGeek's product, analytics, finances, fundraising, and recruiting. SeatGeek was iuncubated at Dreamit Ventures and launched as a finalist at TechCrunch 50. Less than a year after launching, the company was named as one of the "Top 100 Websites of 2010" by PC Magazine.
Jack attended Dartmouth College, where he co-founded Evolving Vox,a furniture rental platform for college students, which grew into the largest student-run business at the College.
He graduated in 2007 and went on to work at Bain & Company as a management consultant for a year before leaving to found Scribnia, an online recommendation engine for bloggers, which was acquired in 2009 by HispanoClick.
Jack was honored to be named as one of "top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25" by BusinessWeek and was named to "The Silicon Alley 100: NY's Coolest Tech People" in 2010 by Business Insider.
Matt Novick, CFO, PlaceIQ <IMG STYLE="margin: 5px; float: left;" TITLE="Matt Novick, CFO, PlaceIQ" SRC="https://cdn.evbuc.com/eventlogos/65295031/mattnovick.png" ALT="Matt Novick, CFO, PlaceIQ" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="100">Matthew Novick joins the PlaceIQ team as Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him over 10 years of advertising and marketing technology experience.
Prior to joining PlaceIQ, Matt served as CFO of Persado. As the company's first New York employee, Matt was tasked with moving the entire management of the company to the United States from Europe, where the mobile marketing company was previously located while under the umbrella of Upstream Mobile Marketing. He operationalized the now independent corporation.
Before joining Persado, Matt served as CFO, including a stint as Interim CEO, of Magnetic Media after initially joining the team as vice president of finance and operations in August 2010.
Matt got his advertising start serving in both the finance and sales operations organizations at AOL.While at AOL, Matt held numerous positions where he was charged with everything from analyzing sell-through rates and CPMs to organizing sales expenditures and revenue. Before AOL, Matt worked as a business consultant at IBM in the government projects group.
He spends his spare time as a part-time operations manager for a 101-year-old family furniture business wher he works on purchasing, advertising, increasing showroom utilization, and starring in commercials. Matt received his MBA in finance from NYU's Stern School of Business and his BA in economics from The George Washington University.
Chris Sugden, Managing Partner, Edison Partners

Chris is an active member in many venture industry networking organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is a frequent speaker at entrepreneurial events, technology conferences and financing seminars. Background: Chris joined Edison in 2002. Chris has led 12 new investments and currently serves on 7 boards of Edison portfolio companies. In 2004, Chris was named by NJBIZ to the "40 under 40" list. Prior to joining Edison, Chris served as Princeton eCom's EVP of the Electronic Billing Division. As CFO he led the business development, finance and accounting departments.
