Join Idealist at Civic Hall, as they feature The Coding Space for their ongoing Tech++ Career Cafe.

Tech++ is a lunchtime series about working, hiring, and everything else to do with a career in the civic tech space.

This month, Eli Kariv (co-founder, The Coding Space) will talk about the unique way that the organization teaches students using the Socratic method and about some of their current programs including The SummerCode Program and GirlCode. Eli will also highlight some of the open positions that The Coding Space is hiring for, and what it is like to work for and hire in the organization. Bradley Michelson, Director of Business Development for Idealist, will speak to other great opportunities available on Idealist that involve coding.

Along with time for networking, this regular series will have discussions and workshops on topics such as strengthening your negotiation, fine-tuning your pitch, establishing good hiring practices, and building a robust career in tech in and out of the office. We will often be joined by great organizations who will share their viewpoints during the process.

Light lunch and time for networking will be provided.
