This 2 part Intro to User Experience course runs Tuesday, October 13th AND Thursday, October 15th. The class time will be from 7-9:30pm each evening.

At its core, User Experience (UX) is defined as how someone feels about in the process of using a product, system, or service. Regardless of what were designing--a website, an Android app, or a tangible product --we all strive to make our designs useful. But how exactly do we make something translates our intention and purpose? How do we know if the target audience is having a good or bad experience? This class will arm you with the essential tips to find those answers.

This class is for anyone who makes (or wants to learn how to make) websites, mobile apps, or other software. If youre a developer, a designer, a project manager, a content creator, or something else, you can integrate UX research and design into your practice.

By the end of this class, youll also learn tips and techniques to address the following:

Fundamental concepts of user experience design
How to find out who your users are
Creating user personas
Identifying usability problems and prioritizing solutions
How to design and run usability tests
Getting useful feedback from your users
Information Architecture and interaction design
Where UX fits with project management methodologies
And more!

This is a hands on course which will give you actionable tools to get started with user experience in your work day!
