<P>Explore the fascinating potential of deeply immersive experiences to engage students & create compelling learning opportunities across educational programs. This workshop is designed foreducational leaders & teachers in K-12, Higher Ed, Museums, & Nonprofits who want to understand the VR / AR landscape & develop a strategic vision for the implementation of immersive technologies.</P>
<P><SPAN>We will identify devices & platforms, content examples, emerging practices, & pedagogical underpinnings. </SPAN><SPAN>The morning session will review the latest developments in the technology & discuss a growing set of immersive educational tools, software, & educational case studies. In the afternoon we will review options for immersive physical space design & engage in a strategic planning implementation session. Participants will use a blueprint developed by Digital Bodies - Immersive Learning to help develop</SPAN><SPAN> strategies for the implementation of your VR & AR projects. We will discuss costs associated with creating VR & AR experiences, the makeup of a team & a project management timeline.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the pedagogical foundations, understanding of the immersive learning technology landscape & emerging practices along with a set of tools & ideas for immediate implementation. You will be ready to lead VR & AR projects in your school, campus or organization.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>Lunch, afternoon snack, & happy hour are included. The event will be held in the Steelcase WorkLife Center New York.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>After a day of provocative discussions, continue the conversation & network with participants in a beautiful space overlooking the city lights of Columbus Circle & Central Park.</SPAN></P>
