<P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: helvetica; font-size: small;">Karen M. Sandler is Executive Director of the Software Freedom Conservancy, the nonprofit home of dozens of free software projects. She was previously the Executive Director of the GNOME Foundation. Karen co-organizes the award winning Outreach Program for Women administered by the GNOME Foundation. Prior to GNOME, Karen was General Counsel of the Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC). She continues to do pro bono legal work with SFLC, the GNOME Foundation and QuestionCopyright.Org. Before joining SFLC, Karen worked as an associate in the corporate departments of big law firms in New York and London. Karen received her law degree from Columbia Law School in 2000, where she was a James Kent Scholar and co-founder of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. Karen received her bachelors degree in engineering from The Cooper Union. She is a recipient of an O'Reilly Open Source Award and also co-host of the Free as in Freedom podcast.</SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: helvetica; font-size: small;">Danielle Sucher loves to spend her free time contributing patches to open source projects in languages she doesn't even know. When she was a kid, Danielle wanted to grow up to live in a library in a lighthouse and spend all her time learning and solving puzzles and creating things. Except for the lighthouse (so far), that's pretty much what her grown-up life has become. She loves digging into the guts of software and building tools and toys, because it's way easier than sitting still.</SPAN></P>

<P>Brenda Storer is a Silicon Valley native who moved to NYC to escape the tech world, only to discover that tech is actually pretty awesome. She currently is a Designer and Front End Developer at thoughtbot, and was formerly the Lead Front End Developer with the start up Levo League. She also teaches HTML/CSS with Girl Develop It and is a co-organizer of Manhattan JS.</P>

<P>Ajanta is more of an avid consumer of open source products. She is an informal open source evangelist within her community and workplace and prides on being a linux (the Ubuntu distro) user on a laptop for over 8 years now, in addition to user of server side products. She loves to tinker with and utilize new open source projects and products and help implement solutions using them. These include development and build tools like NodeJS and Jenkins as well as applications like KillBill Billing System, CMS/DMS/blogging softwares.</P>
