SUMMARY

Chef Habitat -Overview, demo and discussion about Habitat. We will discuss where it fits in the Chef ecosystem and its different approach to automating applications.

Maestro - It's not always simple or appropriate to have all of your services in separate repos, sometimes you end up having more than one service in a repo. But the more in a repo, the more you have to deploy. The more you have to deploy, the longer it takes. Or does it? This talk will go over various techniques and tools, including optimal project structuring, speeding up docker builds and the opensource project, maestro (https://github.com/cpg1111/maestro), written by the speaker, to speed up your building, testing and deployment of these services.
