<H3>Pitchers & Pitches is <STRONG>Galvanizes signature pitch event</STRONG>.</H3>
<P>Once per quarter, Galvanize campuses across the country host a local entrepreneur pitch competition where startup founders pitch their company to a judging panel featuring some of the city's top entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, & industry executives. Pitchers & Pitches is a relaxed & fun environment where founders get great pitch practice & feedback, & the audience gets some free drinks while socializing with the city's startup & technology community.</P>
<P><STRONG>Pitch Format</STRONG></P>
<P>In a mini-demo day scenario, startup founders will be given 3 minutes to pitch & 2 minutes for Q&A on their concept & business model, both from the judges & the audience. The panel of judges will provide feedback & a score based on a standardized rubric.</P>
<P><STRONG>Prizes</STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG>2nd Place</STRONG> Fundraising feedback session with a local Venture Capitalist</P>

<P>*<EM>If the winning team is an existing member of Galvanize, they will receive the same monetary reward as credit to their Galvanize account</EM>.</P>
