<P><SPAN><BR><SPAN><STRONG>Class Description</STRONG></SPAN><BR><BR>Interested in science fiction, fantasy, and/or horror for your next game? Here's a writing workshop to get you started on populating your world with monsters, creatures, aliens, fantastical beasts, & more! Learn how to avoid pitfalls & clichs in genre fiction & discover how the story of the game world adds depth & coherency. <BR><BR>Be prepared to write during the workshop. Existing story ideas are welcome, but not necessary, because writing prompts during class are intended to generate leads.<BR><SPAN></SPAN></SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN><STRONG><BR><SPAN>About the Instructor</SPAN></STRONG></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>A writer & game designer, <STRONG>Sande Chen</STRONG> has over 10 years experience in the industry. She studied science fiction & science writing at MIT. Her first published game was the epic space combat RPG, Terminus, which won 2 awards at the 1999 Independent Games Festival. She was later nominated for a 2007 Writers Guild of America award in Videogame Writing for the dark fantasy RPG, The Witcher.
