Megan will discuss how she and her team at Metis prepare the Metis Data Science Bootcamp students to enter the increasingly competitive and ever-evolving data science industry. In particular, she will go over actionable items people can take to help their resumes stand out, succeed on interviews, and ultimately make a career transition successfully.

Since early 2014, Megan Ayraud has led the Careers Team at Metis, a data science educator in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University and has over 7 years of full-lifecycle technical recruiting experience. Some of her proudest accomplishments include successfully coaching hundreds of people through their career searches and helping people land their dream jobs. She works with people to create personalized career strategies, identify relevant job opportunities, provide introductions, prepare for interviews, and navigate the often complicated salary negotiation process.
