Basic Javascript and iOS Games!

The goal for this event is to use JavaScript, Swift, or Obj-C to implement simple games provided to you LIVE at the event, so you can gain practice using code to solve problems!Come join us in a fun, safe environment great for learning. You may implement the games by yourself or as part of a team. The choice is yours! There are no prizes and the points don't matter.

This meetup is perfect for devs who are current bootcamp students, recent bootcamp grads, or more experienced devs who want to try to implement simple games without external game/physics engines, just code you write yourself!

IMPORTANT: We want this to be a low stress environment where you get to exercise your coding muscles and try new things. This is NOT a hackathon. If you don't finish, don't worry! Try to learn (or teach!) something new from your fellow attendees, and tackle the problem on your own schedule, and add it to your programming portfolio.

Past participants have even use this event as an excuse to get their feet wet learning a new framework!

About our Meetups:

We welcome people of all coding skill levels. We want you to learn and practice JS and/or iOS and to have fun while working on a solving a new problem. We'll usually have both an easier game and a more advanced game for you to implement.

If coding in JS, we recommend implementing each game using something like CodePen or JSBin or CDNJS to spend less time doing setup and more time coding!
