In this presentation we'll share how we built meteor-now to enable painless deployments of Meteor applications using zeit.co's now service. (zeit is run by the builders of socket.io & mongoose open source projects.) We'll also explain how we use containers for resource allocation & how zeit supports them.

Alim S. Gafar -Rapid Node Development with MeteorJS & MongoDB
MeteorJS is an isomorphic platform for developing JavaScript web & mobile applications. We'll dive deep into this full-stack framework, discuss what makes it especially useful for realtime reactive applications, how it uses MongoDB, & how to make it work with Atlas, MongoDB's DBAAS offering. We'll discuss production deployment options, including Galaxy, MDG's container-based Meteor-specific hosting. And we'll demo how to make getting started even easier & cleaner by building apps in Docker.
