Fullstack AcademyFullstack Academy is a full-time, 12-week web development/software engineering immersive program. We select for intelligent, motivated and fun people and train them to be great developers. Our admissions process includes a written application, a technical assessment, and both behavioral and technical interviews. We look for students that we would ultimately want to hire at our own start ups (and some of them we have).
Hiring DayWe want to help our students find great entry- or mid-level development positions so we'd love to invite you to our Hiring Day on July 9, 2014.
Our Hiring Day will be structured in a 'science-fair' format: each student will have a table set up where they will be demoing the projects that they built during Fullstack. You'll be able to meet and evaluate students quickly and decide if you'd like to bring them in for further interviews. Any company that signs up for Hiring Day can expect to receive resumes in advance and early access to our hiring site with student profiles.
Our students built a site that allows you to preview their profiles and projects and mark those you are interested in speaking with further. You'll be able to view resumes, screencasts, and other information regarding candidates. Access to the student website will be given out a week prior to Hiring Day.
Hiring CommissionIf you do hire one of our students, Fullstack Academy asks for a hiring commission of 15% of the student's first year's salary (payment is due within 30 days of signing an employment contract). We offer a 90 day money back guarantee on the commission. However, we are confident that you will be pleased with their performance.
In order to maximize the time you can speak to our candidates, we will have a short video running throughout the duration of the Hiring Day event that showcases and introduces each student and project. After watching this brief introduction to each student you will be free to speak with them individually at each station. At 8 minute intervals we will signal for everyone to wrap up the conversations they are currently engaged in so that employers have an opportunity to speak with each candidate in the room.
