Rachel is the cofounder & CEO of Trigger (www.triggerfinance.com), a mobile app that helps investors remove the emotion out of investing by setting event-based investing rules. Before that, Rachel spent 5 years as an Emerging Markets Trader at J.P. Morgan. Rachel holds a BS in Mathematics from MIT & an MS in Computer Science Engineering from Cornell.

The Lobby is excited to feature Rachel Mayer, cofounder of Trigger, for our August edition of our Finance 2 Tech events where we focus on helping bankers make the leap into the tech / startup / VC world. We'll talk with Rachel about her journey from trading into co-founding Trigger. In contrast to some of our previous guest speakers, Rachel took the route of a masters in computer science to make the transition between finance & tech. As a former investment banking analyst interested in tech, I know how tough it can be to figure out how to make the shift between these industries.
