Join us for a panel discussion "Becoming an expert in Cyber Security."

AGENDA:

We will take a bird's eye view of the latest cyber security threats and trends, as well as real-world strategies and security architecture for securing critical networks and data in the enterprise, commercial, government and industrial environments.

We will also discuss the red-hot cybersecurity job market which is heating up with every breach that gets reported.

Data from all sides predict a huge surge in cybersecurity jobs. Data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates jobs in IT security are one of the fastest-growing categories in tech, up 33% in the past four years alone. Cybersecurity Ventures predicts on the high end that there will be 3.5 million cyber security job openings by 2021. For more info http://cybersecurityventures.com/jobs/. Cisco had projected over a million cyber security jobs.

So the next question is obviously - how to 'break into" a career in cyber security. We'll cover that and many other questions such as what are the building block fundamentals for jumping into a career in cyber security? What are the salary ranges for the different career paths in cyber security? Are certifications relevant? How much time does it take to do this? What are the pre-requisites?

We will answer these questions and much more!
