Overview
Ever wanted to dive into the world of mobile development, or just make that app idea you're always telling your friends about? Take this 12 week bootcamp and we will explore the inner workings of the Android SDK. You will get a solid foundation of Java, the language of choice for Android. So that by the end of the course you will build a complete functioning Android Application ready for submission into the Google Play Store. So Take This Class, and enjoy changing your life!
Our Structure
Students will attend class 3 times weekly, (Mon, Tues,Thurs) from 6:30pm - 8:30pm, while being given homework assignments and projects to work on outside of class. You will also have direct communication with each of your instructors and TAs before, during, and after the bootcamp completes.
Our weekend Peer Programming events are also a great way to sharpen your programming skills and complete assignments amongst fellow coders.
Class Setup
The best educations come from small class sizes and direct instruction...period. You will be part of a class no larger than 10 students.
Preparing You for the Real World
Select students will be given immediate internship opportunities as an Android developer with some of the startups that we work with. During the final month of the boot camp, each student will spend time shadowing a developer at a tech startup to gain experience and interact with an actual developer.
We will also refer you to available positions through our extensive network after teaching you vital interviewing skills needed to be a self sufficient developer.
Pre-requisites
No previous programming experience is required, but we would recommend you at least take one of our free appetizer courses on www.beginnerprogrammers.nyc
