To kick off the event, we'll have a coupleDockerNYC announcements & Moody'sOpening Remarks by Chris Thomas - Managing Director, Platform Technology Solutions followed by a few talks!

Talk 1: Container Engineering @ Moody's

Speaker: Sedat Behar, Associate Director & Senior Software Engineering Manager.

Abstract:

Sedat will cover how Moody's utilize Docker today, his projections for how Docker will be used going forward & Container Orchestration.

Talk 2: Networking in Docker @ Cisco

Speaker:Himanshu Raj,Principal Engineer in the Container Engineering team within Cisco Cloud Systems Business Unit

Himanshu focuses on all things containers. Prior to joining Cisco, he spent time building container management platform at ContainerX, hybrid networking solutions at Microsoft Azure, & security microkernels at Microsoft Research. He holds a PhD from Georgia Tech in Computer Science.
