Panel discussion with Adi Vaxman (Tripda), Itai Tsiddon (Facetune), Ariel Michaeli (appFigures)

Adi Vaxman
Adi Vaxman is a co-founder and CEO of Tripda -- a super-simple to use ride sharing platform that connects passengers and drivers making similar trips who want to share the travel cost. Tripda recently raised $11 million Series A round of funding from both, Rocket Internet (a German company that finances online startups worldwide) and an undisclosed New York based VC firm.
Prior to co-founding Tripda, Adi held successful senior leadership roles in both, startup and mature companies. Most recently, Adi worked as COO in the tech startup space and successfully launched the New York City based e-hailing app, Gett.

Itai Tsiddon

Itai Tsiddon is a co-founder of Lightricks, the parent company of Facetune, the #6 most downloaded paid iOS app of 2014. Facetune is a powerful yet simple to use portrait editing app, enabling non-professional users to quickly retouch their portraits to magazine-level perfection. Facetune consistently performs as one of the best-selling paid apps in the world, with millions of paid downloads. Facetune for iOS has been ranked as the #1 Paid App in over 100 countries, and Facetune for Android took one week from launch in July 2014 to become the #1 ranked P&V App in 113 countries. Facetune has been featured by Apple, Google and Microsoft numerous times, including in Apple's Best of 2013, and Apple & Google's Best of 2014. The app continuously receives superb reviews from users and media, including Bloomberg TV, BBC, NYTimes, W.S.J. and Huffington Post. Examples can be seen on Youtube.

Facetune was 100% bootstrapped by Lightricks, an Israeli company founded by five entrepreneurs with experience in both industry and academia (including 4 CS PhDs with experience in Google, Adobe, and Microsoft research) to bring state of the art image processing technology to mobile and enable the creator in everyone. Lightricks has also been featured as the Facebook case study for mobile user acquisition, as well as at Facebook's F8 conference. Lightricks scaled to 20 employees in under two years, solely on profits and with zero external funding to date. It is currently developing additional cutting edge mobile products which have sparked interest from several of the world's largest corporations.

Ariel Michaeli

Ariel Michaeli
Arial Michaeli is the co-founder and CEO of appFigures, a mobile app store data aggregation service. Ariel turned a personal pain point into a viable business with thousands of customers. appFigures was founded in 2010, has 14 employees (they're hiring!) and has not taken a single penny of investor money. They are completely bootstrapped by their own revenue and Ariel says he turns down investors every week.
