Our developer relations team is headed to New York City in August to help you build a GitHub App in our new Craftwork event series. This workshop is open to developers of any skill level who want to learn how to use the GitHub API to build better developer workflows. We'll have stickers for everyone, too!
GitHubbers will walk attendees through the process of creating their first GitHub App. This workshop will cover:
Introduction to the GitHub Apps flow
Probot, a great tool for getting started building GitHub Apps
Hosting code with Glitch
Agenda

6:45-8:45 Build an App!
8:45-9:00 Q&A, mingling
9:00 And, we're done!
Please bring a laptop computer, as Craftwork is a fully participative event!
The event will be held in East Village, New York, accessible to both Manhattan & Brooklyn. It is a 3 minute walk from 2nd Avenue subway station - with access to the F line. From the Bleecker St. subway station, (4 & 6 lines), it is a 7 minute walk. The space is on the first floor.
