Attention hackers, builders, & community organizers: This city has many problems, but the fundamentals are truly great. Join us for a civics x tech hackathon to make San Francisco 10x better & win up to $5000 in prizes.
We're going to spend a weekend bringing tech people & civics people together to build the best city in the world, one small project at a time.
Bring your best ideas & teammates, or find them at the event. We will provide some snacks & drinks. The focus areas are:
* Housing & Infrastructure
* Street Order & Beauty
* Transparency & Efficiency
* Children & Education
* Industry & Commerce
Ideal team members:
- The engineer, who knows computers.
- The policy wonk, who understands how government works.
- The social worker, who has seen the problems up close.
