Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, & Tech:NYC invite you to join us for the latest installment of the Cornell Tech @ Bloomberg series, featuring former Etsy CEO Chad Dickerson & Google VP of Product Management Bradley Horowitz in conversation with Caroline Hyde of Bloomberg Television.
Over the past 25 years, Bradley & Chad have led companies from startup stage to IPO & worked at some of the most recognizable tech companies around. Both began their careers in online media, Horowitz at Virage & Dickerson at CNN & then Salon. The pair overlapped at Yahoo, where they launched the company's Brickhouse incubator. Following Yahoo, Horowitz joined Google & Dickerson became the CTO, & then CEO, of Etsy, which he led to a 14x growth in revenue & an IPO in 2015.
At Google, Horowitz has overseen several of the company's best-known products, including Gmail, Google News, & Google Photos. He recently launched Area 120, Google's in-house incubator. Together, Dickerson & Horowitz are currently teaching a course at Cornell Tech, on the opportunities & challenges of navigating complex cultures to drive innovation within big companies.
