Meet the Speaker: Fay Kallel
Fay is the head of product, design, & strategy at SigOpt, an A16Z backed company building enterprise-grade optimization & modeling management solutions designed to accelerate & amplify the impact of modelers while scaling model development. Prior to SigOpt, Fay led the global development & launch of Yahoo online media buying SaaS platform growing the product to $1 billion in Ad marketplace revenues. Earlier in her career, Fay drove product leadership roles at Adobe, Intellisync, Vodafone, & early-stage startups. An artist at heart, Fay finds her inspiration in painting, traveling & cooking fusion cuisine.

Mike Ng leads product strategy & strategic partnerships Remedy, a chronic disease screening startup that leverages the latest innovations in interpretable deep learning & reinforcement learning technologies. Before Remedy, he was a product manager at Sumo Logic, an investor at Calera Capital, & an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. A data science nerd at heart, Mike also developed a predictive analytics model that is cited by a number of published papers & textbooks.

Meet the Moderator: Dave Anderson
Dave Anderson is an investor at Toyota AI Ventures, a $200M early-stage venture capital fund that invests in artificial intelligence, robotics, mobility, data, & cloud. Previously, Dave ran a co-working space for entrepreneurs in Detroit & was an engineer developing lithium-ion battery packs for EVs. Dave graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in electrical engineering & holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
