We're back for another Girls in Tech, hackathon. This hackathon enables developers, creatives, & entrepreneurs from all over the NYC & tri-state area to co-create solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing us today. Go from an idea to a working proof of concept within a weekend!
Get hands-on experience developing your focused skill set.
Collaborate with experienced mentors & join a workshop to learn new skills.
Network & build relationships with like-minded people in the local start-up community
Participate in group pitches in front of local business leaders
Win prizes!!
This year, teams will have the opportunity to partner with non-profit organizations to help respond to climate change.
Solutions will be evaluated in the following areas: innovation, impact & viability of implementation. NO technical skills required! Open to marketers, technologists, strategists, creatives, humanists & students. This event is a woman-, man-, non-binary-, POC-, & LGBTQIA-friendly environment! We welcome this opportunity to anyone who is interestedin fact, the more diverse the team is.. the better the solutions!
This event will provide skill-building optional workshops. Mentors will also be provided to help teams think through problems.
You can register with your own team (teams of 3-5 people) or get matched the week leading up to the event.

This is an in person event. All participants must attend the Opening Ceremony & Team Presentations.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR BOTH DAYS OF THE HACKATHON!!

What to bring:
Bring your laptop & charger! Charging outlets will be available.
Pre-Requirement
1. Download Slack - slack will be used to make announcements, provide documentations, & allow teams to collaborate
2. Create a Devpost account - submissions will be made through Devpost
3. Fill out team formation Google Form sent to your email the week of the Hackathon
