Please join us for this special screening event with Q&A of the internationally recognized documentary,
OCEANIA: Journey to the Center
"A quiet, haunting observation of everyday life on a Pacific atoll threatened by rising sea levels. Amid the unstoppable rise of the sea, the poignant story of a mother & her son unfolds. Their intimate narrative becomes a powerful reflection on loss, resistance, & the unwavering struggle for cultural identity. What begins as an everyday family portrait grows into a dramatic testament to the fragility of a place & the strength of its people..."
- Doxumentale International Media & Documentary Festival, Berlin
Join us for an evening of cinematic storytelling & community-building. Set on an atoll in Kiribati-a nation predicted to be uninhabitable by 2030 due to climate change-
Oceania is a character-driven, intimate film created over ten years. While rooted in a specific place, it asks viewers to reflect on universal questions of survival & heritage.
