EVENT DETAILS

As an application developer your concerns generally involve provisioning & maintaining services that provide you with a persistent data store, a message bus, a search or discovery tool, & a plethora of other services that easily integrate with your application. With the evolution of cloud services, it has become easier than ever before to provision & attach these services to your applications. Particularly in the context of cloud platforms (PaaS), existing solutions like Cloud Foundry & Kubernetes offer implementations of the Open Service Broker API as an elegant way to provide, provision, & attach services to applications running on top of these platforms with minimal efforts.

Are you thinking of migrating your applications to a Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes platform? Are you already using these platforms? Are you interested in connecting your applications to a SQL database you dont have to deploy yourself? Do you need a message bus but you dont know how to set it up? Come join us for an interesting session where we will bring up & register a service broker with Cloud Foundry & attach it to CF container runtime. We will demonstrate how your applications can seamlessly connect & switch services when using a service broker.
