Learning about NYC: Buildings
NYC Open Data Updates - Winter 2018
You likely live, work, eat & shop in these: New York City buildings. The New York City skyline is famous thanks to its buildings. How many buildings are there in New York City?Which City Agencies work with our City's buildings? How do we know which ones are part of the Mayor's housing plan? How do we know which buildings are under construction?
Come learn the answer to these questions & others at a first-of-its-kind event at Civic Hall, a community space for civic technologists.
This event is brought to you bytheNYC Open Data Team, Esri,Civic Halland key City Agency partners: the Department of Buildings (DOB) & the Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD).
Explore free & public city data here: www.nyc.gov/opendata
NOTE:While the Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD)is also responsible for Housing Maintenance Code enforcement, the winter season is the department's busiest season & HPD will not have representatives from enforcement present to answer questions.
