Title: The business case for data visualization: Real people + Real data

Abstract: How & why do professionals incorporate data visualization into their practice? To answer these questions, Kristen Sosulski engaged professionals in business analytics, human resources, marketing, research, education, politics, gaming, entrepreneurship, & project management to share their practice. Based on her latest book, Data
Visualization Made Simple: Insights into Becoming Visual, Kristen will present the business case for data visualization. She will illustrate how people & organizations use data visualization to aid in their decision making, data exploration, data modeling, presentation, & reporting.
