Are you looking for an inspirational way to launch your 2026 UNGA & New York Climate Week? Join us on Sunday evening for our annual reception & be a part of the conversation.

This reception brings together Nordic & North American changemakers, global sustainability leaders for an evening of ideas, inspiration, & informal exchange. The event is hosted by UN Global Compact Finland & Miltton, one of the Nordics top consultancies. It is also supported by the UN Global Compact Country Networks of Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, & Canada.

Expect: Short, sharp perspectives from leaders shaping the new sustainability-and navigating what it means for business, impact, & global competitiveness. Think bold ideas, fresh perspectives, meaningful matchmaking, & conversations that challenge the status quo. Whether you're driving change, exploring new partnerships, or simply curious about where sustainability is heading next, this is your room-and a great way to kick off the UN General Assembly & New York Climate Week.

Our speakers:

Georg Kell - Georg Kell is a globally respected thought leader in sustainability & responsible business, best known as the founding Executive Director of the UN Global Compact. A pioneer in putting sustainability at the heart of corporate strategy, he has spent decades connecting business, government, & society to drive positive global change. Today, he continues to shape conversations around responsible leadership, sustainable investing, & the future of business.

Eeva Taimisto, Miltton - Eeva will be premiering the results from: The Evolving Language of Sustainability & Climate: How Chief Sustainability Officer's narratives are shifting. A study on how sustainability language & narratives are evolving among the world's largest companies, analysing communications from the Forbes Global 2000. The findings reveal some fascinating shifts in priorities, vocabulary, & strategic framing.

Comments & discussions on the perspectives behind the results. Speakers TBC.

And maybe even more to come...

Hope to see you there!
