What's next for tech policy in the state of California? The rules for regulating technology were not built for a world where AI changes this fast. This conversation asks what tech policy in California needs to look like now that the old assumptions no longer hold, with CA gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton.

Steve Hilton is the Republican candidate for Governor of California. He advanced from a crowded primary with more than 2.2 million votes & is now taking on career politician Xavier Becerra in the general election.
Steve was born in London, the son of Hungarian immigrants who fled communism in search of freedom & opportunity. From a working-class background, he made it to Oxford University & went on to a career at the highest levels of business & government, including serving as senior advisor to British Prime Minister David Cameron.
After immigrating to the United States & making California his home, Steve taught at Stanford University, built several businesses, hosted Fox News' The Next Revolution, & founded Golden Together, a movement for common-sense reform in California. He is the author of More Human, Positive Populism, & Califailure.
