Caron G. is the Strategy & Program Manager at ICA, where she is responsible for developing & implementing innovative programming to support growth focused companies working with ICA to help close the gender & racial wealth gaps.Prior to joining ICA, Caron's professional experience spanned industries in health & beauty, education, international grantmaking & small business incubation---with specific roles in operations, programs & executive administration. Caron received an MBA from the Lorry I. Lokey School of Business & Public Policy at Mills College & a Bachelor's in Marketing Communications from Emmanuel College.
Neda Amidiserves as a Partner & Global Head of Health at Plug & Play. She leads investments in digital health & biotech startup companies. She is responsible for global partnerships with corporations including Johnson & Johnson, Cleveland Clinic, Sanofi, Roche, & others.Prior to Plug & Play, Neda worked at Zamzee, a wearable technology startup for teens & Zong, a mobile payment startup which was acquired by PayPal for $240 million.
Angelic(moderator)is the Founder & CEO of MyUmbrella: a social networking platform for the LGBTQ+ community rooted in Wellness, Inclusion, Social & Education. She is a third-generation entrepreneur & grew up in a family of small business owners & was intimately involved with the day to day operations. As a result, she's well versed in the grit & perseverance required to start, sustain & grow a business.Prior to founding her company, she was an architectural designer for various civic buildings & the lead developer manager for affordable & workforce housing projects in the Bay Area & New York City.
