In this talk, Albert-Lszl Barabsi will chart the 25-year odyssey of BarabsiLab in crafting the visual lexicon of networks.
The essence of complexity lies in connectivity. Whether we examine the vast expanse of the World Wide Web, the intricacies of a cell, or the marvel of the human brain, their complexity invariably stems from intricate interconnected networks. Connectivity is foundational to our biological makeup, our social fabric, & our communicative prowess. In this talk, Albert-Lszl Barabsi will chart the 25-year odyssey of BarabsiLab in crafting the visual lexicon of networks & connectivity, focusing on their recent monumental project for the 2024 Venice Architecture Biennale, which charts 50 years of architectural history. Dr. Barabsi is the Robert Gray Professor of Network Science at Northeastern University. He has exhibited at galleries all over the U.S & Europe & recently co-designed the opening experience for the Biennale Architettura di Venezia.
