On behalf of Amnesty International USA, Plan C, the Universal Access Project, & Women on Web, please join us for a discussion on the sidelines of the Commission on the Status of Women on Visions for a Digital Future: Combating Online Suppression of Abortion Information.
We hope you'll join us for a dynamic discussion with activists & strategists on how to combat digital suppression & online misinformation around abortion in a post-Roe world - including a first-of-its-kind coalition that is working to build a digital future that supports the reproductive rights of all people everywhere.

Speakers will include:
Jane Eklund, Amnesty International USA: Jane Eklund supports Amnesty International USA's work to fight the suppression of reproductive health & rights information online as the Tech & Reproductive Rights Fellow. She is passionate about working toward a future where all people can seek the reproductive healthcare they need without fear or impediment. Prior to her role as a fellow, she worked with AIUSA's Gender, Sexuality, & Identity Program on state level abortion rights work & research on human rights abuses against Indigenous women in the US.
Martha Dimitratou, Women on Web: Martha Dimitratou is the Digital Strategist at Women on Web & PLAN C. She also works in the sexual & reproductive health & rights space in the US & internationally with organizations such as Hesperian Health Guides, The National Women's Health Network, & the Period Pills project. She's active in the digital rights movement.
Luna Borges, Fs Feminista: Luna Borges is a Brazilian feminist activist, scholar, & lawyer with more than thirteen years of work, including management roles & evidence-based advocacy training, experience in public interest in Brazil & internationally - both within government & with civil society - focusing on social justice. She currently works as Associate Director at Fs Feminista, leading a multiyear & multicountry project on self-care, abortion access & advocacy. At Fs, she has also been working in orchestrating transnational & transregional action by connecting partners throughout the Sexual & reproductive health, rights, & justice ecosystem.
Karna Kone, Le Centre ODAS: Karna is a development communications professional with experience in communications strategy design, digital campaign planning & implementation, & program management. He is passionate about social & behavior change programs, & advocates for the empowerment of girls, women & youth. Karna serves as Communications & Mobilization Advisor. He is responsible for promoting & amplifying the work of the ODAS Center through relevant communication channels. Karna holds a Master's degree in Advertising-Marketing from the Institute of Communication Sciences & Technology of Abidjan (ISTC-Polytechnique). Before joining The ODAS Center, Karna had various experiences in a communications agency, in the field of international development with EngenderHealth & Equal Access International (EAI). At EAI, as Digital Communication & Reporting Officer for the Resilience for Peace project funded by USAID, he was responsible for developing & implementing the project's communications strategy & writing project reports.
