Join Danish Cleantech Hub in putting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on the agenda for the built environment in New York.
On January 1st, 2016 the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development officially came into force. As leaders within the built environment, we are increasingly responsible for looking at buildings & not just encounter the physicality but also the process by which they have been created as well as their immediate & long term social, economic & environmental impacts. The green build movement have significant potential to bridge the built environment to the SDGs by contributing to several of the SDGs in a significant way - from climate resilient infrastructure to utilizing circular principles reducing waste of resources.
Join us for this timely event where we will explore the complementarity between the Green Build Movement & the SDGs looking deeper into its implementation in New York City. We will be learning from inspiring high-level cases who have succeeded bridging the two concepts while achieving a strong business case.
