Herman Chu, Senior Principal Engineer, Design Engineering @ Celestica
Speaker Bio:
Senior thermal mechanical engineer with expertise in electronic cooling & acoustic designs for fan & fanless systems. Alternative nontraditional cooling solutions for single-phase & dual-phase liquid cooling include immersion, water cooling, 2-phase pump refrigerant, & thermosyphon. Previously did thermal engineering at: Nvidia, Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems, Procket Networks, Brocade Communications, HP, Wakefield Engineering, Amdahl, & General Dynamics.

IEEE SCV
The Santa Clara Valley (SCV) Section promotes the aims & objectives of the IEEE as stated in the IEEE Constitution & Bylaws. The Section concerns itself with all IEEE affairs taking place within the area prescribed by the IEEE as the territory of the SCV Section that geographically takes in all the peninsula cities south of Highway 92, plus the counties of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, & Santa Cruz. The SCV, more popularly known as Silicon Valley, is one of the most extensive IEEE Sections in the world in terms of membership & active chapters. IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section inspires Silicon Valley professionals & students to stay connected & collaborate by creating & providing leadership programs to educate & stimulate technological innovation & engineering excellence.
