After our first BlockTalks sold out to a packed house of over 200, Celsius Network is pleased to host a new BlockTalks to kick off 2018!
Our CTO will be debuting for the first time our MVP of our consumer app and our desktop trading app. You'll have the chance to meet the majority of our tech team and ask questions.
BlockTalks is a set of short TED talk-style presentations that culminates in a panel discussion, and ends with lively networking and free cocktails among blockchain and cryptocurrency thinkers, doers and HODLers.
The life of the blockchain is still in its early days. New applications across industries from energy to infrastructure, real estate to privacy, are all being explored and have implications for our personal, consumer, and business lives. To learn more about and encourage this burgeoning technology, please join us!
Attendees must be at least 21 years old to attend,as this event includes an open bar and free dinner.

Alex Mashinsky, CEO & Founder of the Celsius Network
Alex is a serial entrepreneur and founder of seven New York City-based startups, raising more than $1 billion and exiting over $3 billion. Alex founded two of New York City's top 10 venture-backed exits since 2000: Arbinet, with a 2004 IPO that had a market capitalization of over $750 million; and Transit Wireless, currently valued at $1.2 billion.
Over 35 patents have been issued to Alex, relating to exchanges, VOIP protocols, messaging and communication. In fact, Alex has a foundational patent on VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology dating back to 1994 and is now working on MOIP (Money Over Internet Protocol) technology.

Xiaochen Zhang,President, FinTech4Good
Xiaochen leads the design and implementation of FinTech4Goods's strategy which aims to introduce impactful fintech and blockchain solutions to frontier markets through incubation, acceleration and investment. He is also the founder of Blockchain Frontier Group and a co-chair of several blockchain labs. Prior to FinTech4Good, Xiaochen advised government agencies and multinational organizations on innovation, emerging technologies, and investment in positions at the World Bank, United Nations, and other international partnership platforms.

Nuke Goldstein, CTO of the Celsius Network
Nuke is a seasoned software developer, architect, innovator, and entrepreneur in cutting-edge technologies. His career ranges from image processing and AI to IoT and blockchain. Prior to his work on the Celsius crypto assets lending and borrowing platform he designed P2P credit protocols using distributed storage and smart-contracts.
